Important Information About Child Restraints

We care about the safety of your family while you travel around Australia. The following information will help you decide which rental vehicle is the right one for you and your children. The law in Australia states that children under seven years of age must be safely fastened in an appropriate child restraint.

Note: The ages listed above are a guide only for your child’s safety. If your child is too small for the restraint recommended for their age, keep them in their current restraint for as long as needed. If your child is too large for their recommended restraint, move them to the next appropriate level of child seat.
