Our friendly team will help get you on the road as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
What You Need
Please bring a physical credit card (Apple Pay is not accepted) and your driver's licence. If your licence is not in English, you'll need an official English translation or an International Driving Permit. Only the primary driver needs to be present at collection.
Vehicle Handover
We'll finalise any remaining paperwork and guide you through a vehicle tour, ensuring you're comfortable with all features before departure.
Good to Know
Allow extra time for vehicle collection during busy travel periods (summer, Christmas, New Year, Easter, and school holidays). And, to get on the road sooner, watch your vehicle's user guide on our YouTube channel before arrival.

- Notify us if your flights are delayed or cancelled
- Head to our YouTube account and watch your vehicle tour video
- Ensure your toll pass is set up properly to avoid surprise toll and admin fees.
Drop-Off
- Notify us in advance if you’d like to extend your holiday (as it is subject to availability)
- Don’t forget to refuel the motorhome fully
- Don’t forget to empty the toilet cassette and the grey water tank
- Remove rubbish, wash dishes, and strip bedding

Driving Around Hobart Driving Around Hobart
For your safety, all drivers should familiarise themselves with the Australian road rules. Tasmania has a few unique driving conditions to keep in mind:
Wildlife: Wallabies, wombats and other native wildlife are commonly seen on Tasmanian roads, particularly at dawn, dusk and during the night.
Winding Roads: Many of Tasmania’s roads are narrow and winding, especially through national parks. Allow extra travel time, reduce your speed and use slow vehicle turnouts where available to let faster traffic pass.
Ferries: If you’re planning to visit Bruny Island, remember that vehicle spaces on the ferry can fill up during peak periods.
Good to Know
Cruisin’ Motorhomes strongly recommend that you DO NOT drive at night. It’s just not worth it, here’s why. Also, please read the Dos & Don’ts while travelling in a motorhome and learn the difference between Sealed and Unsealed roads.
