What You Need
Please bring a physical credit card (Apple Pay is not accepted) and your driver's licence. If your licence is not in English, you'll need an official English translation or an International Driving Permit. Only the primary driver needs to be present at collection.
Vehicle Handover
We'll finalise any remaining paperwork and guide you through a vehicle tour, ensuring you're comfortable with all features before departure.
Good to Know
Allow extra time for vehicle collection during busy travel periods (summer, Christmas, New Year, Easter, and school holidays). And, to get on the road sooner, watch your vehicle's user guide on our YouTube channel before arrival.

- Notify us if your flights are delayed or cancelled
- Head to our YouTube account and watch your vehicle tour video
- Ensure your toll pass is set up properly to avoid surprise toll and admin fees.
Drop-Off
- Notify us in advance if you’d like to extend your holiday (as it is subject to availability)
- Don’t forget to refuel the motorhome fully
- Don’t forget to empty the toilet cassette and the grey water tank
- Remove rubbish, wash dishes, and strip bedding

Driving Around Perth Driving Around Perth
For your safety, all drivers should familiarise themselves with the Australian road rules. Cairns also has a few unique driving conditions:
Long-Distance Driving: Western Australia is vast, and destinations can be much further apart than expected. Plan your journey carefully, carry plenty of water, and ensure you have enough fuel before leaving major towns.
Strong Coastal Winds: Coastal routes, especially around Fremantle, Lancelin, and the Coral Coast, can experience strong crosswinds. Take extra care when driving a motorhome and reduce your speed if needed.
Remote Areas: If you’re travelling beyond Perth into regional Western Australia, mobile phone coverage and services can be limited. Download maps in advance and let someone know your travel plans before heading into remote areas.
Wildlife: Kangaroos and other native wildlife are most active at dawn and dusk, particularly on regional roads. Avoid driving at these times where possible and stay alert.
Good to Know
Cruisin’ Motorhomes strongly recommend that you DO NOT drive at night. It’s just not worth it, here’s why. Also, please read the Dos & Don’ts while travelling in a motorhome and learn the difference between Sealed and Unsealed roads.
